The science curriculum is a broad and balanced curriculum that encourages curiosity and an engagement with the world and the surrounding environment.   

We believe that it is important for our children to see science as a possible future career.  To facilitate this, every year group teaches a unit of work entitled ‘We are Scientists’.  A diverse range of scientists have been selected to relate to previously taught units within that year group - for example, Year 3 teaches 'Rocks and Soils' and then studies the world of Mary Anning.
