This week, Year 6 pupils designed and created a range of maths games for our Year 1 children. The games focused on developing key mathematical skills, including counting to 20 and counting in 2s, 5s and 10s.

Today, the Year 6 children had the opportunity to share and play their games with Year 1. It was wonderful to see the older pupils confidently supporting the younger children, showing patience, encouragement and creativity throughout the session. Both year groups thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the Year 1 children were excited to practise their maths skills through fun and engaging games.
