Year One spent the day in Epping Forest learning more about plants and trees. We explored the different trees in the forest and went on a tree hunt. We completed tree rubbings using crayons, and played lots of games. We also learnt about what plants need to survive and gained lots of knowledge about the different animals that live in the forest.

The children had a wonderful time and were able to use what they had learnt from the trip in their science lessons.
