During our DT topic 'Bridges', we looked at how different bridges are constructed and which materials are used. We looked at the best shapes to use when build a trestle, how to make the pillars strong and how a suspension bridge works.  We then took all the knowledge we had gained and worked in groups to build our own bridge.
