Year 4 tested the presence of gas in carbonated water by firstly, weighing a sealed bottle, then releasing the gas and weighing the bottle again. Finally, we shook the bottle and released the gas one final time, then took a third measurement. We then determined that the mass of the bottle had decreased, thus proving the existence of gas!
