The Burleigh School Parliament visits the Houses of Parliament!

On Friday 31st January, the Burleigh School Parliament went on a trip to visit the Houses of Parliament in London. During the trip, we learnt more about the history of the government and what the Members of Parliament (MPs) do for the country. T
This morning, the whole school had a very special visitor. As everyone gathered on the playground, we could hear the sleigh bells getting louder. The excitement gathered momentum as Father Christmas and his sleigh came into view. Father C
Gizmo and Oreo joined us for this morning's assembly and were awarded the Aspiration Trophy!
The whole school sat very quietly while the children were told how to look after guinea pigs and why they make such good pets.
