Burleigh's Careers Fair

On Monday 15^th June 2026, we held our annual Careers Fair for Years 3-6. This year, there was an even wider range of careers for the children to learn about, including a clinical psychologist, a petrochemical trader, a dentist and a CGI specialist! The event was a huge success thanks to our Burleigh community volunteers. Here are some of the responses from the children:

Rafael: "I liked the whole experience, but especially the CGI artist because he showed us simulation and made the Burleigh logo spin 360 degrees and shimmer."

Alfie: "I loved it! I liked the firefighter because we got to try on the fireproof uniform and gloves to see how it felt – it was thick and heavy, but there was a lighter one that is used to save animals."

Ayla: I had fun because a lot of jobs I didn't know about were there. My favourite was the hair and nail technician because I really enjoy doing hair and make-up."
