Yesterday, the children in Years 3, 4 and 5 were definitely motivated by their learning when they participated in a VR (Virtual Reality) workshop.
There was a real sense of awe and wonder as some children were given a tour of South America, including a trip to the Amazon rainforest. Others experienced an underwater adventure and a safari trip all from the safety of their own seat.
Although real-life experiences can’t be beaten, virtual reality does provide the next best and closest alternative.
