The Burleigh football team took part in the Premier League Primary Star Football Tournament last week, which is organised by Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. This took place at the
New River Sports Centre in Haringey. With stiff competition from some of the best schools in Haringey (Harris Academy, Muswell Hill Primary school, Brookhouse and North Haringey to name but a few), we played 5 games and managed to win 2 games and draw 3 games. The boys played brilliantly, and other schools said that we played some of the best football that they had seen! Unfortunately, our results meant that we missed out on qualifying for the next round of the competition. The team can hold their heads up high, knowing that they were undefeated! Well done to everyone who took part!
