  • Year Six Silent Auction!

    Year six are holding a silent auction to help raise funds for a fabulous year book to commemorate their time at Burleigh. 

    Bids can be sent in via sealed envelopes or the silentauction@burleigh.herts.sch.uk email address.  See the flyer in the gallery for more details.

  • Goodbye to Our Ducklings!

    Yesterday afternoon we said goodbye to our little ducklings!  It was a sad moment, but we are happy in the knowledge that they will live long and happy lives with a wonderful lady on a lovely farm in Sussex.  We can even expect photos and updates on their progress as they grow, so keep your eyes peeled for some photos of our ducklings' adventures on the farm!  Sounds like the makings of a great book!

    Our five ducklings are growing so quickly and are very lively!  They have now taken their first swim! See the video in the 'School Videos' tab in the purple 'Children' pencil.

    Today has been very exciting for the children in EYFS!  Two of the ducklings have hatched and another is hatching right now! See the photos below.

  • Fabulous New Hut!

    Thanks to winning the Tesco Blue Token funding, the children have a fabulous new playground hut.  Over the Easter break our amazing site manager Billy, worked tirelessly to build a second playground hut down in the year 3 & 4 playground.  The children couldn't wait to go outside at breaktime and play in their new outside space!

  • EYFS Visitors Revealed!

    This week EYFS are playing host to five little visitors!  Yesterday morning five little duckling eggs arrived for the week.  During this time the children will hopefully be able to witness their hatching and care for them until they go back to live on the farm on Thursday next week.  Stay tuned for daily updates and videos/photos of their progress.
