• Tesco Blue Tokens

  Wow! A huge thank you to everyone who added their blue Tesco tokens to the Burleigh Primary School containers, situated throughout the local stores.  We won the funding!  Our wonderful site manager Billy, is currently drawing up plans for two new fabulous wooden huts for our playground/field area.  The children love the hut we have, so to be able to build more for them is absolutely fantastic! Once again, a massive thank you! 

  

• Sponsored Read & Book Fair

  Well done to everyone who participated in the sponsored read for World Book Day,  you have all done amazingly well and have raised so much money for the school! 

  On Friday, Danielle from Usborne books is visiting us again to celebrate our sponsored read and to hand out prizes to the winners of most minutes read and most money raised. 

  This will then be followed by a fabulous book fair which will be taking place outside the Year 2 classrooms.  All classes will visit the book fair throughout the day and parents are welcome to visit the book fair after school. 

  The book fair will also be open on Monday 11^th March and Wednesday 13^th March, when parents will be able to visit during parents' evening.

  We hope you have all enjoyed taking part in the sponsored read and that you have discovered many new and exciting books.
